Step 1: Unbox Your Trezor
Open the box and ensure you have all the necessary components: the Trezor device, a USB cable, recovery seed cards, and a user manual. Verify the holographic seal to ensure your device is authentic and untampered.
Step 2: Connect to Your Computer
Connect your Trezor to your computer using the USB cable. Visit trezor.io/start to download the Trezor Bridge, which allows your device to communicate with your computer securely.
Step 3: Install Trezor Bridge
Download and install the Trezor Bridge software. This software ensures a secure connection between your Trezor device and your computer.
Step 4: Set Up Your Trezor
Open your web browser and go to the Trezor setup page. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your device. You will be prompted to create a new wallet or recover an existing one. Choose "Create new wallet" if this is your first time setting up the device.
Step 5: Create a Recovery Seed
